From the beginning of the school day, an Auburn Area Catholic School education is centered in Christ. Each morning, we gather as a community to pray, recite the AACS Mission Statement and say the Pledge of Alliegence. Each class includes formal religious education, and prayer is woven throughout the day.
We welcome students of all faiths to join us as we pray, learn and serve. We celebrate Mass each week, and students serve in the Mass ministries as lectors, cantors, altar servers and gift bearers. Throughout the year, our school community celebrates special occasions, such as the Blessing of the Pets for the Feast of St. Francis, classroom blessings on Epiphany and the May Crowning. Each Lent, students prayerfully act out the Stations of the Cross weekly.
As we love God, we also love our neighbor. All students participate in service opportunities throughout the year, including making cards for the homebound, volunteering at the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission and fundraising for a variety of causes.
